At Pro Pasties Alimentación S.L. ("Pro Pasties") we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains who the data controller is, what data we collect, for what purpose and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What personal data do we process and for what purpose?

We only process the data needed for each purpose:

  • Data provided through the contact form: name, email address, company (optional), phone (optional) and the content of the message you send us.

    Purpose: to handle and manage your enquiry, request for information or quote and, where applicable, to maintain the resulting commercial contact.

  • Browsing data: when you visit the website, our servers and those of our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and the date and time of access.

    Purpose: to ensure the security, proper operation and maintenance of the website.

We do not process special categories of data (sensitive data), we do not create profiles and we do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when you tick the acceptance box and submit the contact form. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
  • Pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), where your request relates to purchasing our products or services.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) to ensure the security of the website and to respond to the communications you send us.

4. How long do we keep your data?

  • Contact form data: kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and, once resolved, for the limitation period of any liabilities that may arise. If the enquiry does not lead to a commercial relationship, the data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
  • Data from a commercial or contractual relationship: kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the periods legally required for commercial, tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 6 years under the Spanish Commercial Code).
  • Browsing data: for the period defined by our hosting provider for its technical and security logs.

Our general criterion is to keep data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Once those periods have elapsed, the data is securely deleted.

5. Who do we share your data with?

We do not share your data with third parties, except where legally required. However, to provide the service we rely on providers that act as data processors and only access the data to provide their services:

  • Hostinger International Ltd. — website hosting and maintenance.
  • FormSubmit — processing and delivery of contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google (Google Maps and Google Fonts) — displaying the location map and the website fonts.

Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). In such cases, international data transfers are carried out with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or the providers' adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. What are your rights?

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure of your data when it is no longer needed.
  • Objection to the processing of your data.
  • Restriction of processing in the cases provided for by law.
  • Portability of your data to another controller.
  • Withdrawal of consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

To exercise these rights you can write to info@propasties.es or by post to the address in section 1, identifying yourself and indicating the right you wish to exercise. There is no charge.

If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid, or through its electronic office at https://www.aepd.es.

7. Source of the data

The personal data we process comes directly from the data subject, provided through the contact form or any communication you send us.

8. Security of your data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, preventing the loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access to your data. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). However, no system is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Minors

Our services are not aimed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under that age. If we detect that we have processed a minor's data without the consent of the holder of parental authority or guardianship, we will delete it as soon as possible.
